Camp Tour

Camp Stonewall is located in suburban Thompson, CT. Our 150-acre campus is home to 4 girls' house-style dorms and 4 boys' halls, which are populated by our eight bunk groups. To learn more about our dormitory accommodations, please click below.

In addition to our dorm housing, the campus holds 3 tennis courts, a gymnasium, a dance studio, a weight room, a dining hall, a blackbox theater, a low ropes course, art studio rooms, a fishing pond, a turf field and track, and extensive grass fields.Swimming and kayaking is enjoyed at nearby Quaddick Lake; gymnastics takes place at Deary's Gym in Killingly, CT. Bus transportation to off-site activities is provided (and included in camp tuition).

Dorms

The Outback

The Outback is traditionally home to the Koalas, girls entering grades 2-4. The dorm houses up to 12 campers in doubles or triples, alongside a team of 5 CSW staff.

The Atlantic

The Atlantic is traditionally home to our Jellyfish, or girls entering grades 5-6. The Atlantic has 3 suites, each with a private bathroom and housing 4-8 campers, for a bunk group maximum of 16. Staff (5-6) live in an adjacent suite on the hall.

The Arctic

The Arctic is historically home to the Foxes, or girls entering grades 7-8. The dorm accommodates up to 28 in rooms of 4-6 campers, alongside CSW staff (6).

The Savannah

The Savannah is home to Camp Stonewall's Gazelles, or girls entering grades 9 & 10. The dorm has a maximum capacity of 24 girls, living in rooms of 4-8 campers, with bunk staff (6) residing on the second floor.

The Jungle

The Jungle is a hall-style dormitory that accommodates all CSW male campers. The boys are spread out among 4 hallways based on age: Crocs (grades 2-4), Jaguars (grades 5&6), Frogs (grades 7&8), and Gorillas (grades 9&10). Each hallway has its own camper room facilities (up to 8 rooms), counselor rooms (to house the 5-6 bunk staff unique to each group), and bathroom/shower rooms. The large common areas include table games - pool, foosball, table tennis, etc - as well as plenty of space for interaction and relaxation.

For larger international groups traveling together, CSW is happy to accommodate group chaperones in White House. Accommodation is dorm- or family-style living, with shared common and kitchen spaces for its residents.
